Dr. Gilbert Egekeze has been practicing health and wellness since 2000. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1997 and continued on with his Residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Egekeze is interested in general internal medicine, including blood pressure management, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, asthma, general health physical exams for preventive medicine as well as preoperative clearance examinations.

Oaklund Medical Group welcomed Katrina to the practice in 2022. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science and Nursing in 1997. She then went on and recived her Family Practice Her special interests are diabetes care, mental health and women's health. She sees patients in the outpatient setting, nursing homes, and at Sherman hospital and Ascension St. Joseph in Elgin. She lives in the area with her husband, 3 teenagers and 2 great Danes.

Hillery Higginbotham graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2017, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to complete her master's degree at Northern Illinois University with her license in Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022. Her special interests include Diabetic care, Geriatric medicine, Women's health prevention. She also takes the time to educate her patients on nutrition and healthy lifestyle. She lives in the area, is married, and has two daughters.
